Anyone have a sledge hammer?

I decided to brave the shops with the kids today, well just one shop really. I found a cute little consignment shop about half an hour away from our home. I found it online and saw they had a window frame that I was going to use to make a headboard for our bedroom. It was going to be too big to put in our car, so I took the Pathfinder. I got two kids bathed and dressed, moved car seats, and headed out. I made it there, checkout the store and bought my window frame thing. On the way home is when the fun started.

Just a brief history on our Pathfinder. We replaced the clutch about 6 weeks ago. It cost a pretty penny too, a lot of pennies! Anyways, me and the kids are driving home on this nice, hot sunny day. There is construction on the side of the freeway so of course it is stop and go traffic. Our Pathfinder, that I love oh so much, decided to make this a day to remember and the clutch went out. So, here I was in stop and go traffic in the construction zone with a broken car. One thing did go right and I was able to coast it to a spot where I could pull over. We got towed off the interstate and a friend came and picked me and the kids up.

Things did work out and we were able to make it home so we do have that to be thankful for. Lucky Jared gets to deal with this #%$*& car tomorrow. If I see it again I just may put a sledge hammer through the window, that is if I can find a sledge hammer!

I know my dad has one if you want to go to Idaho and get it. If not, I hear a baseball bat works pretty well.

Oh no! I'm sorry, how frustrating. I am glad you and the kids made it home safely.
