Of course you have to see the Liberty Bell, Bentli was fascinated with the story of the crack! (you have to smack your hands together when you say crack also) Independence Hall was right there also. We decided not to tour it, the kids were getting hungry so we went to a farmer's market called Reading Terminal Market to get some lunch. The market was awesome, they have anything and everything.

On one of Jared's day off we went out to Amish country. We ate at a Amish family style restaurant, Good and Plenty (thanks for the tip Tif) it was fantastic... homemade everything and all you can eat! We took a buggy ride and learned more about the Amish and Mennonite people. Needless to say the kids loved it.

We had fun just hanging out with Grandma! Grandma treated us to burgers and shakes a couple nights. The kids especially loved the shake part, as you can see, Tate was pretty serious about the shake. I felt pretty empty handed without two kids hanging on me constantly, it was fantastic. Bentli had a hard time when Grandma left thank goodness for cell phones, we can't wait to see her again!

Oh how fun! I love Reading Terminal and all of the historic stuff. I am glad you checked out the Good n Plenty. YUMMY!
I am glad to see that you guys are having a good time in Philly. That is one of the areas I haven't actually been to. I would love to go and see all that history. I bet it was great having your mom around to help. Enjoy your time there and give me a call some time (I sitll have the same number).
We sure do miss you guys!
Wow, how fun. You guys seem to have such fun exploring your new homes. Your kids are really growing up. That last picture of Bentli makes her look so big (and beautiful-what cute kids!). So glad you're doing well. Good luck with school!
Oh I can barely look at these pictures without being homesick for you guys. I'm so glad that you posted them though. Kaiya is going to love looking at them.
Sounds like you guys are getting to know your surroundings. How fun to see new things. I'll have to convince Greg to take our family on a vacation there. I would love to go!
We miss you SO much! I don't know how many times I've read this post. I am so glad everyone is adjusting to life in PA and that you are having fun but... gosh darn it... we miss you!! Come back!
